Analysis of Understanding Problems in Intercultural Language Communication

Intercultural language communication refers to what a foreign-language speaker converses with a native speaker or what two foreigners converse with each other in a foreign or second language in intercultural encounters.Understanding problems involve two casesnonunderstanding and misunderstanding,and both can be attributed to language,discourse principles,culture,etc.Causes of understanding problems and solutions to them were analyzed from both sides.It was pointed out that understanding in intercultural language communication is a dynamic choice made by the two sides.Understanding problems can be avoided when proper choices were made in speakers' constructing and comprehending their linguistic messages.
