韦伯与马克思的关系是马克思主义哲学研究的一个重要课题。人们通常认为韦伯是马克思历史唯物主义的坚决反对者,其实韦伯反对的只是他那个时代盛行的对历史唯物主义的庸俗解释。从反思现代性这一现代社会理论的总规划着眼,韦伯的整个学术事业反而与马克思的伟大批判学说有不可分割的内在联系,是马克思学说之当代效应史的一个重要逻辑环节,对后来西方马克思主义学派的形成产生过重要影响。

Max Weber in the Perspective of Contemporary Marxism

The relationship between Weber and Marx should be an important subject of Marxist philosophy. It is commonly thought that Weber is an unfaltering opponent of Marxian historical materialism. But what Weber opposes, in fact, is nothing but the vulgar interpretation of historical materialism , which reigned in his days. From a perspective of the reflective modernity--a general project of modern social theory, Weber's whole academic undertakings are inseparably related with Marxian great doctrine of critique, and turn to be an integral step in the dissemination of Marxism and in the formation of contemporary Western Marxism.
