Hackers: A Cultural Paradox

The article analyzes some of hackers' paradoxical roles at the web era, such as the technical elite and the cultural elite, technical crime and property robbery, and national complex and the public disaster. It also expounds hackers' cultural traits, their process of fission, explores into their special value orientation, and points out that their paradoxical action will pose a dire potential threat to the living order of our contemporary society.
