| Abstract: | From the mid-16th century to the beginning of the 19th century, urbanization made its insistent appearance in Japan. With the development of commerce and urban economy in Japan, her urban society was founded. The present paper makes a discussion of the historical conditions of urbanization in Japan from such aspects as vassal organism, social productive forces, division of labor in society, commodity economy. |
