On a Simultaneous Characterization of the Poisson and Bernoulli Distributions

Kimeldorf et al. (1981) established a simultaneous characterization of the Poisson and Bernoulli distributions. In this note two variants of the authors' characterizing condition are considered each of which is shown also to characterize simultaneously the Poisson and Bernoulli distributions.
