Abstract:Recent advances in the mechanistic study of Fischer Tropsch synthesis are summarized in this review.The olefin readsorption mechanism based on the carbide mechanism is stressed in depth.Further,it is pointed out that an effective approach to the study of Fischer Tropsch mechanism exists in connection with the utilization of technologies of surface science,which may,as a useful tool,provide a way to understand the Fischer Tropsch reaction mechanism at the level of events over the active site/catalyst surface.This paper gives a new direction for the kinetics study of the reaction system.
