儒学的现代"名分"问题刍议

儒学在中国古代学术中属于"谱系儒学","儒学"一词的含义只是"儒家之学"的意思,没有学理性的指涉;而在现代学术中,儒学却被称为"哲学"、"伦理学"或"宗教",并在这样的"名分"下被研究.但是,究实而论,儒学无论是在学理上还是在范式上都与所谓的哲学、伦理学或宗教相去甚远.既然如此,那么我们将儒学称为"哲学"、"伦理学"或"宗教"就不是很"名正言顺",而且更严重的是,将儒学当作哲学、伦理学或宗教来研究大大地遮蔽了儒学的独特性.在现代学术研究中,对待儒学的正确态度应该是将儒学看作是可以用来建立新的哲学、伦理学或宗教的"思想资源",而不应直接将其看作是哲学、伦理学或宗教本身,这就好像我们应该将煤看作是电的资源而不应直接将其看作是电本身一样.

On the Modern Status of Confucianism

In ancient Chinese academic circles, Confucianism just means the learning of Confucius, without any academic siguificance, while in modern academic circles, Confucianism is regarded as and has been studied from the perspectives of philosophy, ethics or religion,from which ,in fact,is quite differeat both in terms of its principle and theoretical paradigm. Therefore, it is not perfectly justifiable to give the name of philosophy, ethics or religion to Confucianism, and What is worse is that giving the name of philosophy, ethics or religion to Confucianism conceals the unipueness of Confucianism. In modern academic research, we should see Confucianism as the resources of thought to be employed to construct new philosophy, new ethics or new religion.
