对中西比较研究中一些文化理论问题的思考

自十六世纪中国与欧洲发生正面接触以来,大量的西方学者对一切有关中国的文化知识表现出了浓厚的兴趣,产生了诸多的假设、猜想、认识,乃至理论,并在此基础上形成了一些范式性的概念结构.当代理论的发展进一步推动中西理论家去建立能说明中西方文化巨大差异的理论框架,更加自觉地在中西研究中运用不同的文化理论.本文旨在探讨理论范式形成中的一些显著的趋势和观点,并通过对文化普遍主义、文化相对主义和后殖民主义等文化理论的一些思考,试图在如何更有意义地使用文化理论的方法上发表一些意见.

Reflections on Some Problems of Cultural Theory in the Comparative

Since 16th century when China and Europe came into contact,a great many western scholars have shown strong interest in Chinese culture,from which derived a number of hypotheses,understandings and theories. Modern theories propose to set up theoretical frameworks for the divergence of cultures in China and the west countries. This paper studies the obvious trends and views which have come into being in theoretical modes. It has some reflections on how to apply cultural theories more significantly by means of cultural universalism,cultural relativism and post-colonism.
