中外高等教育近代化的比较及反思

高等教育近代化是一个世界性的课题。中国在内外交困和举步唯艰的发展中基本上完成了高等教育近代化,但这只是停留在“内容层面”和“制度层面”,而“理念层面”的近代化却相对较少。大学自治、学术自由在大学里相对充分的实现,将是中国高等教育进一步发展所必须的。

Traditional Adjustability and Realistic Surpassing

The Modernization of Higher Education is a worldwide project.We have been studying it since China Higher Education erected its fundamental mechanism by way of transforming and adapting the form of the modernization of western Higher Education.China has completed its initial modernization of Higher Education,which just remains at the surficial and so-called content meaning without paying more attention to its institution and concept.It would be the most important undertaking,meanwhile,the most difficult step for China Higher Education if we want to surpass its reality and narrow down the gap in the key field of self-governing and academic freedom with all universities in western countries.
