试论关联理论中的有界性维护

Sperber＆Wilson(1986/1995)提出关联理论的目的之一就是希望为认知语用学打下一个具有普遍意义的理论基础(冉永平,2002),但该理论面世以后却引起了各种非议甚至是误解。有学者认为关联理论所含内容过于泛泛,似乎事物之间都可找到一定的关联,没有区分的界限,从而失去了其作为理论的科学严谨性。因此本文主要从关联理论的原则入手,围绕关联推理以及关联理论与合作原则和语境之间的关系展开讨论,旨在说明关联理论的看似无界性中其实包含着相当的有界性。

Tentative Survey on Unboundlessness of Relevance Theory

One of the purposes of Sperber & Wilson's (1986/1995)putting forward Relevance Theory is to lay a general foundation for cognitive pragmatics, but there have appeared some disagreements, even misunderstandings. Relevance theory , to some extent, is said to be too inclusive and therefore impotent to secure its authori-tativeness. The present paper is designed to attempt to seek out an unboundlessness out of the seeming boundlessness in relevance theory with reference to relevance principle and the relevant relation between the theory and cooperative principle and context.
