Adaptation theory can interpret translation. In the adaptability framework, translation is a kind of transcuhural activity and a dynamic process. Therefore, In translation, one should try to understand what he is dealing with by referring to its macroscopic cultural circumstances. Only by making dynamic adaptation to various cultural contexts and evading from the barriers of transmitting the cultural information can we achieve pragmatic equivalence in translation.
