试论刘勰对风格理论的贡献--《文心雕龙·体性》札记

著名文学理论家刘勰对前人风格理论有两个发展,一是对风格理论的形成,通过才、气、学、习四方面,作出了比前人更为深入的论述;二是首次提出了风格的分类理论,对于风格的整体把握以及提倡风格的多样化具有重要意义,并对后代产生了深远影响.

On Liu Xie's Contibutions to Stylistics

This passage points out and expounds Liuxie's two developments of the predecessors' style theory. The first is the formation of the style theory. He made a much further statement than his predecessors in the four aspects of talent, spirit, study and practice. The second is that he put forward the theory of classification in style for the first time. These are meaningful in the general grasp of the style and advocating varieties of style. Also it has a profound and lasting influence on the later generations.
