Exploring the Path for Urban Transition: A Case Study of Guangzhou

Urban transition is the path transformation of economic and social development in order to achieve fast growth and the well-being of the society. Guided by the concept of scientific development, Guangzhou has led the country with its accomplishment in urban transition by taking into account the status quo of the city. Nevertheless this is just the beginning of the transition process and there still exist many problems that should not be ignored.
