美国记者与公关人员敌意关系溯源

摘    要:揭示了美国记者对公共关系和从业者持敌意态度的五个历史背景,即美国大众对宣传的渴望;宣传起源的时代背景;早期公关人员的方法;早期对公关人员的批评;美国记者向公共关系的转向。这种敌意态度的形成源自公共关系人员对美国记者的利用和操纵,这一对敌意关系维持近百年的原因在于免费的公共关系宣传影响了媒体的广告收入。同时还揭示了美国记者敌视公共关系的五个自相矛盾的表现。

Abstract:The paper explores 5 backgrounds about the hostility attitude held by American journalists towards PR practitioners:firstly,American people long for propaganda;secondly,the background of propaganda;thirdly,the method used by PR practitioner in the early time;fourthly,the criticism on PR practitioners;fifthly,American journalists' transfer to PR Practitioners.This hostility attitude results from manipulation of PR practitioners and has lasted for nearly a hundred years.The deep reason may be that the free PR publicity has reduced the ad revenue of media.In addition,the article discusses five conflicting phenomena.
