LU Yao's Peasant Makings and the Local Culture of Northern Shaanxi

LU Yao lived in his eary years in the cultural background of land-holding peasant economic society of Northern Shaanxi Province. LU Yao's close spiritual association with peasants originates from the blood relationship of his family. Local culture unconsciously mixes with LU Yao's spiritual makings which are in return reflected in his literary creations. Peasant Makings both help and restrain LU Yao in his literary creations.
