“全民终身学习活动周”是国内众多城市建设学习型城市的重要抓手。作为全国“全民终身学习活动周”优秀组织城市,佛山市从2013年开始举办“活动周”以来已探索出了“政府主导,多方协同;媒体宣传,营造氛围;整合资源,共享成果;树立典范,引领全民”的模式,实现了市、区、镇(街)、村(居)的四级联动。佛山模式的成功经验和做法对于其他城市开展“全民终身学习活动周”也具有一定的启示作用。

The Week of Lifelong Learning for All plays a significant role in building up learning cities in most Chinese cities.As one of the best cities in organizing the Week of Lifelong Learning for All,Foshan has developed a unique model“led by the government and coordinated by multiple public sectors;publicized by the media creating atmosphere;of integrating resources and sharing outcomes;of setting fine examples and leading all the residents”,which has established a four-level interaction from municipality,districts,towns(sub-district offices)to villages(neighborhood committees).The successful experience and practices of Foshan model have provided certain implications for other cities in holding the Week of Lifelong Learning for All.
