西方公私理论述评

公私界限是西方思想史上的重要问题，可以追溯到古希腊罗马时期关于家庭和城邦的区分。随着经济上升为社会生活的主导要素，公私界限也发生了巨大变革。启蒙运动之后，西方主要形成了四种公私观。不同公私理论用于解决不同的社会问题，但同时也面临着理论和实践两方面的困境：一方面。大量的公私观理论造成了实践上交织存在的公域与私域；另一方面，公私观的合理性本身也受到挑战。

Review on the Western Theories of Publicness and Privateness

Public-private boundary is an important issue in the western history of ideas,which can be traced back to the distinction between the family and the Polis in ancient Greek and Roman ages.With the economy arising as the dominant element of the social lives,the public and private boundary has changed a lot.After the Enlightenment,there have appeared four schools of public and private theories,each addressing different social problems,but all confronted with theoretical and practical dilemmas.On one hand,a wealth of theories about the pubic and the private have given rise to interwoven public and private spheres;on the other,the rationality of public and private theories also face challenges.
