姑蔑国源流考述--上古族群迁徙、重组、融合的个案之一

姑蔑本是黄河流域的一个古老国族,经历了源于华夏,由中原播迁东方、由夏而夷、由夷而夏,最终融入汉民族统一体的曲折历程,并在先秦夷夏互动中扮演过重要角色。周初东征践奄,姑蔑作为被征服国族,一部分留居鲁地逐渐融入华夏;其主体部分则与徐奄等夷人族群辗转南下越境,并在越国的军事政治活动中发挥过重要影响。楚灭越后,越地经战国纳入统一的秦汉帝国版图,其境内的姑蔑族也在汉晋以后逐渐融入汉族。

A Historical Study of the Gumiao Kingdom: A Historical Study of an Ancient Ethnic Group

Gumiao was an ancient ethnic group in the Yellow River valley and experienced many ups and downs in history before merging into the Chinese nation. Before the Qin Dynasty, Gumiao played an important role in the interaction between the Hans and the minority groups. In the early Zhou Dynasty, Gumiao was conquered, of whom a small part stayed in the Lu State and gradually merged into Huaxia while the majority, together with other ethnic groups, went southward to the Yue state where they played an important role in its military and political activities. The Yue State was conquered by the Chu State, and the Qin unified all the states. Since the Han and the Jin Dynasty, the Gumiaos gradually merged into the Han ethnic group.
