中西伦理学对话的可能性和条件

由于各自都面临深刻的道德危机 ,中西伦理学对话现在比任何时候都更加迫切和需要。然而 ,这却不是一个容易的任务 ,有许多障碍必须克服。文化的不可通约性、种族中心主义和自然语言某种程度的不可译性 ,使得跨文化对话变得极为艰难 ,但却不是不可能 ,因为存在着对话可能的基本条件 :共同的问题 ,不可通约的相对性 ,中西彼此越来越接近 ,等等。关键是真正实现对话者平等和对话语言的平等 ,以及将对方作为他者 ,而不是相同者来理解。

Conditions and Possibilities of a Dialogue Between China and the West on Ethics

This paper, Considers briefly some challenges shared by China and the West today, in order to bring to light the urgent need of a dialogue between China and the West on ethics. Then it outlines and explicates some apparent difficulties in the dialogue. In the third section it explores the possibilities of the dialogue between China and the West on ethics. Finally it attempts an examination of some conditions which such a dialogue must satisfy.
