| Abstract: | Among all the morals promoted by Confucianism, Shi Shuo Xin Yu valued the filial piety especially. The tendency of filial piety in Wei and Jin Dynasty was reflected from five aspects, namely profound and extremely pure love, caring for the parents with kind and pleasant countenance, mourning without doing harm to one's health when the sinior was dead, being in mourning in heart for a death of a kinsman, sticking up for the fame of the family. |
