| Abstract: | This article refutes QIAN Long-ti and YAO Pei-qian' judgements in criticizing this poem. By relating with the historical records and a series of poems composed for LI De-yu who was unjustly framed and died of banishment, anatomizing the WU Xiang's lawsuit's background and essence from the trial to the retrial, we safely draw the conclusion that LI Shang-yin is politically courageous enough to write the work in justification for LI De-yu. |
