| Abstract: | In the Pre-Chin Period the change of the women's role had its profound historical reasons. The basic one is the replacement of matriarchal society by patriarchal society. I hold that it is the result of the historical forces. The inner factors, however, are demonstrated by the educational system resulting different attitudes towards men and women, the system of strict segregation, inequality between the two sexes towards the chastity of virginity. |
