The relationship between Schoen’s V and a loglinear measure

This paper discusses the mathematical relationship between Schoen’s ? and an index derived from log-linear models for making compositionally controlled comparisons of the occurrence of an event in a population. The merits of each and the contributions of the log-linear formulation are discussed.
