| Abstract: | In the light of the properties of meta-fiction ,this article analyses the properties of The French Lieutenant's Woman written by John Fowles. In this novel,the author reveals and taunts the fictiveness of Victorian novels by using writing skills such as parody,intrusive author,intertextuality,readers' involvement and anachronism. |
