| Abstract: | The Thorn Bird written by Australian famous author-Colleen McCullough has well received among the readers since it was published.The reason of popularity is in some extent due to the theme of love and fate.The heroine in the novel has the intention of pursuing perfect love,however,the forbidden love has gained the sympathy of readers instead. |
