| Abstract: | "Waltzing Matilda" is reputed as a national song of Australia,known to all in that country.An analysis of how the song truthfully reflects Australia and why it enjoys such a prestigious position among the Australians is given.Furthermore,in a pioneering effort,a tentative Chinese version of the song to the Chinese readers is presented. |
