| Abstract: | Owing to the lack of materials,scholars pay little attention to the Beijing-featured novels written in the early years of the Republic.The author has a collection of the Beijing-featured novels of the time and discloses some anecdotes about the novelists,such as the novelists represented by Sun Gong(whose real name is Cai Youmei) and some social activities of Peng Yizhong,the originator of the press in Beijing,which are rarely seen historical materials. |
