早期中国神仙信仰的形成与演化

中国古代神仙思想源于先民朴素的自然观和宇宙观。春秋以前世人观念中有神而无仙,二者并不属于同一类别。战国时期神仙思想在社会上逐渐形成,并以修炼成仙长生不死为号召赢得了君主帝王们的热衷,而在其传播过程中发挥了重要作用的则是由先前宫廷巫师演变而来的神仙方士。经过长期的积累和完善,早期神仙信仰逐步形成了自己的理论体系,终于在魏晋时期发展成为神仙道教。
