论“五四”时期傅斯年之戏剧改良观

长期以来,傅斯年被人们称为"民族虚无主义者",对此,我们不敢苟同。如果将其置于宏观背景之下,超越政治、道德的层面,从人性及文化视角重新审视、解读傅先生之戏剧改良观,我们认为:批判旧戏,创造新戏是历史的必然;戏剧文学应是"为人生"的文学;文化继承应是一种开放性结构和世界性眼光,文化是统一的;中国文学的前途必定是"为人生"的文学。

Fu Sinian's Drama Improvement View in the May 4 th Period

Fu Sinian has been regarded as "national nihilist" in the mainland for a long time. But the author does not agree. This paper makes an analysis in the background of history and world. From above the political and moral level, a discussion of Mr. Fu's drama improvement is made from the point of view of humanity and culture. The author points that to criticize the old drama and to create new ones is the necessity of the history. Drama literature should be literature for life. Culture heritage should be of open structure and with worldwide view. Culture is unity. The future of Chinese literature should be literature for life.
