A Profound Study of the Reform of State-owned Enterprises

According to the reform orientations and policies worked out by the government, the reforms of the state owned enterprises have gone through a continual development process. The central point of this reform lies in whether the state owned public economy system and the market economy system can be reconciled with each other. Theoretically, the former itself needs the cooperation of the latter, but in practice there do exist certain demerits created by the non authentic owners in the state owned public economy system. The author holds that such demerits can be removed in practice with the help of advantages of the socialist system, and the reform of state owned enterprises carried out in China now is sure to expect a bright future.
