康熙、乾隆南巡异同考

康熙、乾隆的南巡,对巩固多民族国家的统一起了积极的作用,而且在南巡途中,不废政务,兴修水利,解决黄河水患,修建海塘,做了许多有利于国计民生的事。但同样是6次南巡,康熙的南巡,促进了东南地区社会的发展和稳定,对国家统一、抵御外敌、赈灾恤荒、考察官吏都起到不可泯灭的作用。而乾隆的6次南巡,加重了封建政风的败坏,激化了阶级矛盾,清朝由盛而衰。

The Difference and Similarity Between Kangxi and Qianlong's Southern Inspection

Emperors Kangxi and Qianlong had visited and inspected the South for six times respectively,which had played a positive role in the consolidation of the unified multi-ethnic country.During the official inspections,the two Emperors didn't neglect the administrative affairs,but did lots of matters in favor of the people's livelihood and national economy,including building up irrigation facilities to cope with the flooding of the Yellow River and constructing the seawall as well.However,the official inspections carried out by different emperors had produced different impacts on the society.The inspections made by Kangxi were so significant that they were indispensable for prompting the social development and stability of the Southeast,for maintaining the unification of the country,for resisting the enemy attacks,for aiding the disasters and comforting the victims,and for inspecting the government officials.As for the inspections made by Qianlong,they aggravated the deterioration of the feudal political ethos and intensified the class contradictions,from then on,Qing Dynasty began to decline.
