| 摘 要： | 留美幼童是近代中国第一批留学的群体。在近代＂弱肉强食＂的国际舞台上,留美幼童坚持民族主义、爱国主义立场,有力地捍卫了国家民族利益,其表现为：第一,反对分裂势力,维护领土完整;第二,开展外交斗争,维护华人利益;第三,索回庚子赔款,推动科教发展;第四,加强中美交流,增进两国友谊。
