The contemporary Russia-Japan relations and its prospects

Considering the strategic status a nd reciprocity in economy between Russia and Japan in Asia -Pacific region,the writer thi nks that there will be the great poten tialities of cooperation in many ways between the two countries,but the normal development of the relations will be held each other back owing to the problem of the Northern territory.Growth and declination of the demands of the cooperation in economy and the confrontation each other in territory will be a basic feature of Russia-Japan relations in the first half of the 21th century.
