谈普通高校双语教学的定位

中国加入WTO为我国高等教育与国际接轨提供了契机,同时也带来了挑战.双语教学作为实现高等教育国际化不可或缺的环节,已被提到议事日程.本文作者就普通高校应该如何迎接挑战,定位双语教学,对山西财经大学部分师生进行了问卷调查.结果表明1)在普通高校有必要开展双语教学;2)在普通高校实施双语教学要根据各自的实际情况,有选择、分阶段地进行.

On the Orientation of Bilingual Teaching in Normal Colleges

Bilingual Teaching, as an indispensable link in the integration of Chinese higher education into the world, is receiving a growing concern. In response to the forthcoming challenges and opportunities, the authors have questionnaired part of teachers and students in the university about how to orientate bilingual teaching in normal colleges. The paper concludes that there is an urgent need for normal colleges to set up bilingual teaching programmes on a gradual college-specific and subject-selective basis.
