摘    要:对学生掌握词汇原型意义以及听力水平运用SPSS13.0对数据进行分析处理后,得出以下结论:(1)词汇原型意义与听力测试成绩之间存在显著的高度负相关;(2)词汇量与听力测试成绩之间存在显著的高度正相关,但相关程度低于前者。

Abstract:This paper reports an empirical study on the influence of lexical prototypical meaning on the students' performance in listening tests.Data obtained from the 30 second-year English majors' performance in a vocabulary test,a lexical prototypical meaning test and a listening text are analyzed by SPSS13.0.It is found that lexical prototypical meaning is highly negatively correlated with subjects' listening test scores while vocabulary is,however,highly positively correlated with subjects' listening test scores,but this correlation is not as strong as the former one.
