后现代主义戏剧辨析

后现代主义戏剧是相对于现代主义戏剧、现实主义戏剧而言的,因此,我们只有在比较中才能认识和把握后现代主义戏剧。在现实主义那里,重要的是模仿和再现现实;在现代主义那里,重要的是对情感思想的表现;而在后现代主义那里,重要的则是戏剧表演本身。除此之外,后现代主义戏剧的最重要特征就是本体怀疑论、模糊界限、混杂拼贴和语言革命。后现代主义戏剧不仅标志着艺术形式脱胎换骨的改造和革新,而且也意味着戏剧创作和表演方式的极大混乱与无政府状态。

On the Postmodernism Drama

Postmodernism drama is a term related to modernism drama and realistic drama,thus we can only learn and grasp it in comparison. Realism puts emphasis on imitating and representing reality, modernism puts emphasis on expressing emotion, while post-modernism puts emphasis on performance itself.
