Organization Structure of Auto Manufacturing and Optimization of Industrial Structure--An Analysis from the Perspective of Combo-Products

Manufacturing such combo-products of multiple components as automobiles entails a mode of network, which provides not only a scaled economy of auto manufacturing with higher-level specialization, but also a bigger opportunity for technological advancements. It is a priority to develop production of hi-tech components and those with self-owned intellectual property, in order for China's automobile industry to advance its industrial structure. Network organization is a self-organization by the market, and the advance in industrial structure is the result of corporations' own decisions. Present policies should put emphasis on enforcing fair play, freedom of contract and development of corporation with creativity and ability to learn.
