宋朝少数民族人口数量探究

宋朝境内少数民族几乎全部集中在西部地区,以广西路最多,四川地区次之,以下依次为陕西地区、荆湖地区和河东路。经考证推测,北宋中后期宋朝境内约有少数民族人口 467万余人。其中少部分列入方志的当地户口统计,但在全国总户口数中,则只有极少数列入。由宋朝官方全国总户数得出的宋朝总人口数,应加上少数民族人口才是比较真实的总人口。

A Study on the Population of the Ethnic Minorities of the Song Dynasty

Almost all the ethnic minorities of the Song Dynasty concentrated in thewestern region, with those in Guangxi as the largest in number, those in Sichuan as thesecond and others distributing in Shaanxi, Jinghu and Hedong in proper order. The paperpresumes in the light of historical accounts that the ethnic minorities within the boundaries ofthe Song Dynasty amounted to over 4. 67 million in population. Only a few of them wereregistered in local household statistics, while very few were included in the total householdsof the country. For this reason, to get a real total population of the Song Dynasty, thepopulation of ethnic minorities should be added to the whole population from the officialcensus.
