大学英语写作教学新探

A Probe into the Teaching of College English Writing

The fast development of China's economy accompanied by more frequent international communications has put a higher demand on the English competence of college graduates, especially on their abilities in listening, speaking, and writing. The writer of this paper recommends that the teaching of college English writing should: 1. emphasize applied writing, 2. combine trainings of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, 3. increase the amount of writing assignments and do more "expanded writing", 4. arouse students' interest in writing, and 5. variegate range of subjects and forms.
