Workplace Disaster Collective Postvention
Abstract:ABSTRACT

There is a growing recognition that corporations not only need to attend to the legal, medical, and safety needs of employees following a workplace disaster, but the psychological impact of trauma may in fact be the most difficult to overcome. A practical collective workplace disaster plan is described with emphasis on information, peer support, education, and follow-up services. A case example is given to illustrate these four key concepts.
