Managing Employee Absence
Abstract:ABSTRACT

Employee absences represent a major concern for employers due to financial losses, both direct and indirect. Absences occur for several reasons; however, perhaps the most significant loss of work time is attributed to work related injuries. This paper addresses losses due to injury and proposes a plan of action for effective cost containment involving rehabilitation case management and early return to work.
