Challenging Stereotypes in Treatment of the Homeless Alcoholic and Addict: Creating Freedom Through Structure in Large Groups

This paper challenges stereotypes that influence treatment of the alcoholic and addicted homeless population. It describes a method used to work with this population that was developed when group membership rose to 30 to 45 and became too large for "traditional" small-group approaches.
