| Abstract: | This thesis, by analyzing the development of bel canto in China with both positive and negative experience, and introducing the history and successful examples of other countries in this regard, argues that the development of bel canto in China should conform to the international trend and be boosted by inheriting the legacy of traditional Chinese vocality culture, and that a bel canto of the Chinese style should be fostered on the basis of the inheritance and development of the traditional style of singing. |
