| 摘 要： | "文化身份"是后殖民主义探讨的焦点.奈保尔受到东西方两种文化影响的特殊身份使他能从不同的视角观察世界.<半生>继续他一贯的主题,移位的生存状态、身份的失却、以及随之而来的疏离感,讲述了处于"林勃"状态中的父与子,寻找家园、寻找身份、寻找归属的旅程.

| Abstract: | Cultural identity,is the focus of postcolonial study. Influenced by two cultures of the East and the West, V.S. Naipaul can observe the world in different perspectives. The theme of dislocation, loss of identity and consequent alienation in Half a Life has been a recurring one in Naipaul's works. In this novel, Naipaul takes us to see how Willie and his father in limbo search for a house, identity and belonging. |
