| 摘 要： | 发轫于18世纪中期的哥特小说是浪漫主义文学大潮中一个重要并且特殊的文学流派。但是,浪漫主义文学在吸收和借鉴哥特式艺术手法的基础上,摒弃了哥特小说的颠覆特质,不论在思想还是在艺术成就上都远远超越了哥特小说。浪漫主义文学的代表作品《巴黎圣母院》不仅继承了哥特式艺术手法,而且为其注入了新的内涵。

| Abstract: | The Gothic novel which came out in the middle of 18th centry is an important and special sect of the Romantic literature. The two sects infiltrate and influence each other. However, the Romantic literature assimilates the means of artistic expression of the Gothic literature, and forsake the subversion of the Gothic literature. The Romantic literature transcends the Gothic literature far and away in the thought and the artistic accomplishment. The paper takes the ease of The Hunchback of Notre Dame,analyzing the The inheritance and advance of the Gothic Literature in this novel. |
