基于问卷的大学英语教师跨文化交际能力的研究

摘    要:基于英国学者Byram跨文化交际理论,本研究采用问卷调查法,从跨文化交际的四个维度设计问卷,对河南省大学英语教师进行抽样调查和访谈,从调查结果看,高校外语教师的跨文化交际能力有以下特点:跨文化交际过程中母语文化意识淡薄;跨文化交际过程中跨文化知识缺乏系统性;不善于灵活、有效地运用各种外语教学方法和现代化的教学手段实施跨文化教育。对此,我们探讨了相应的对策:增强教师的跨文化交际意识,拓宽教师跨文化知识,提高教师跨文化交际能力。

Abstract:Based on Byram' s cross-cultural communication theory, this study is conducted with the way of questionnaire and interview from four aspects: attitudes, knowledge, skills and critical cultural awareness to design questions to interview three sample colleges of Henan Province. Through this interview, we find that there are some problems existing in college English teachers, such as a lack of cross-culture awareness of nativistic culture, shortage in systemicness of cross-culture knowledge and being show at making use of advanced teaching technology. By the way, we also try to find solutions to them.
