| Abstract: | The Great Gatsby is one of the most important works that reflects the social facts of the 1920s America. It creates several figures which are very true to life and the social facts of the time, and in the works, the figures often show some features which are contradictory to the expectations of the readers, but at the same time are very reasonable. Those contradictories actually reflect the values of the author and the social background of the time. |
