即席口译中摆脱记忆困境的策略初探

本文通过笔者自身的一些实践体验,综合了有关口译理论以及与口译研究相关学科的研究成果,如心理语言学、神经语言学、神经生理学、以及现代信息加工心理学等,并结合即席口译中译员面对的真实情景,分析了即席口译中译员记忆的特点和制约译员记忆的种种不利因素,并在审视人脑记忆系统的信息处理机制的基础上进一步提出译员在即席口译中摆脱记忆困境的一些策略。

Strategies of Extricating Interpreters from the Great Memory Difficulties in Consecutive Interpretation

In light of the real situation facing interpreters in consecutive interpretation,the author has,by summarizing his own experience in interpretation practices and synthesizing the findings on the role of memory in consecutive interpretation made in oral interpretation studies and other related disciplines,such as psycholinguistics,neurolinguistics,neurophysiology,modern psychology of information-processing,analyzed the characteristics of memory and the unfavorable factors that affect interpreters' memory in consecutive interpretation,and then by looking into the information-processing mechanism of the human memory system, and further put forward a series of strategies aimed to help interpreters extricate themselves from the predica- ment caused by the great difficulties of memory in consecutive interpretation.
