湘学原道意识的成因

作为儒学地域化产物的湘学,其最鲜明的思想特色、学术成就是具有探索大本大源的原道意识.一方面,荆楚文化对天地之道的不懈求索,湖湘流寓学者对宇宙与人生之道的思考,构成了湘学的思想渊源;另一方面,湘学形成于道学鼎盛的两宋时期,它自觉承担了重建儒家之道的使命.故而湘学表现出强烈的原道追求.

The Reason of Yuan Dao Consciousness of Xiang School

As a production of the development of Confucianism in special region, Xiang School (literally the school within Hunan province) had its outstanding special quality of ideology and achievement of study which was a kind of Yuan Dao consciousness (an idea researching the origin of the world). This paper focuses on the cause of existence of the Yuan Dao conscionsness. The paper considers there are two aspects of the cause. On one hand, The culture of Jingchu has been researching the principle of the Heaven and the Earth unwaveringly, and the intellectuals of Huxiang School present a thorough study of Dao(Thonght) of the Cosmology and human nature, which constructs the basic ideas of the Xiang School; On the other hand, Xiang School came into existence in Song Dynasty when Dao learnings was at the height of power and splendours, hence Xiang School consciously bore the responsibility for reconstructing the belief of Dao. So Xiang School manifested its strong desire to pursue the origin of the world.
