中国学生的英语语用失误分析

摘    要:语言知识的准确和熟练掌握并不意味着语言的恰当使用,不恰当地使用语言而引起的理解方面的错误,其根本原因在于对该语言所蕴含的文化缺乏了解.本文结合中国学生在学习与交际中使用语言的实际情况,列举并分析了存在于他们之中的这些语用错误,提出语言的教与学都应该以培养学生的实际使用语言的交际能力为目标.

Abstract:Proficiency in correct grammar knowledge does not necessarily mean the appropriacy of language use. Inappropriate language use leads to misunderstanding between speakers and hearers, which is called pragmatic failure. As is noted by Jenny Thomas, it is due to a misunderstanding of a target culture. This paper is to cite and analyze some pragmatic failure examples among the Chinese learners of English as EFL and to advocate communicative competence as the goal in language learning and teaching as well.
